Araceli Wences Rangel is a graduate of the Autonomous University of Guerrero where she graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters with the thesis “Mexico's participation in the Second World War.” He is currently a Master's student in Humanities and is developing the project “Japanese migration to Mexico and its presence in the state of Guerrero.”

Many Japanese who emigrated to Mexico in the first half of the 20th century decided not only to settle in this country, they also acquired Mexican nationality.
