In the seventeenth episode, guest host Enrique Higa, a Lima-based journalist, will interview pediatrician and Professor of Medicine Graciela Nakachi, who has written for Discover Nikkei about her father’s immigration to Peru and her upbringing as a Peruvian Nisei. Their conversation will explore the Peruvian Nikkei experience, touching on personal, familial, and community histories.
