Two Day Workshop: Practical Cloth Making

Discover the creativity and fun in making your own cloth for a wide variety of projects. Taught by Glennis Dolce, this workshop will explore how to use boro techniques and sashiko stitching to make whole cloth from scraps. Learn how to sew, applique, and more to create cloth for pillows, wall pieces, clothing, and bags.

This workshop is limited to fifteen participants and is open to all levels of knowledge. All tools and a materials kit ($40 value) are included with payment. Material kits include indigo-dyed base fabric, threads, and a wonderful selection of vintage Japanese fabrics. Bring your own scraps to enhance the material kit scrap collection!

Workshops are 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on both days. $108 Members, $135 General (price includes instructor’s materials fee)
