Emily Mitamura is a Yonsei poet and Ph.D. student living in Minnesota. Her work takes up ongoing afterlives of colonial and mass violence, in particular the narrative demands placed on those in its wakes. Her poetry works through continuous bodily, relational, archival hauntings and appears or is forthcoming in PANK, AAWW: The Margins, Nikkei Uncovered, and Clarion Magazine among other places.
