Background Information

Group's Mission and Motivation

Sheridan Taiko Players is a small group from the Sheridan Japanese School in Sheridan, Oregon. They have been playing for about five years.

Since it is a high school group the members change yearly which creates a wonderful opportunity for upcoming students to perform. The challenge of taiko, along with the excitement of the audience, is a superb venue for our school to share the Japanese culture with students and spectators alike.
