Living conditions
Living conditions were very good, I slept in a room on the sixth floor. Meals were very good also, with 1 to 31 choices most of the time. Bath rooms and showers in the buildings were American style. Actually had very little to complain about.

I miss the sleep, late movies, late snacks, my gal, civilian clothing
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
I got my education and more at the Army Language School at the Presidio in Monterey, California. It made me a better person. I was also part of the military police.
Additional information
I spent seven best years of my life from 1946 to 1953 in the Army.
