Most vivid memory of military experience
Crossing the North Atlantic Ocean in winter with giant waves and floating ice hitting the troop ship is one of things I remember.
Also the despair of the German people.
Missed most whilst in the military
Family and loved ones.
Most important thing, personally, to come from military experience?
Sense of pride and accomplishment.
