Información adicional
How ironic that an 'undesirable citizen' coming out of Manzanar got drafted and eventually was entrusted with war crimes and intelligence type duties. After accumulating sufficient points for discharge, many of the Nisei language specialists were not given discharge but were kept in the service while haoles were released.

The worst part is that when the Korean War started, I was called back by the Army in January 1952 and did not get discharged until 05/15/1952. All because of our language expertise.

Lost valuable time getting started with my career. Was assigned to Hokkaido, Japan during the Korean War. Did not see my first born child until she was 10 months old.

Residence: Pleasant Hill, CA
