This year's Chicago International Film Festival (Chicago's biggest film festival!) will feature six movies from Japan! The programmers cast their nets wide and eclectic this year, for a slate to include the brutally stylish crime flick Smuggler, the somehow touching revenge drama Sleep, the sobering documentary Ending Note: Death of a Japanese Salesman, the contemporary family epic Chronicle of My Mother, the arrested-development-parenting comedy Bunny Drop, and the this-wouldn't-be-a-film-festival-without-a-J-horror-omnibus Kaidan Horror Classics.
