In the sprawling expanse of the Greater Los Angeles Area, the Nikkei communities flourished in a myriad of settings. From suburban towns to farming and fishing centers. their presence was felt in Gardena, Glendale, Long Beach, Pasadena, Riverside, San Pedro, Santa Ana, Santa Monica, Sawtelle, Terminal Island, and Venice, showcasing the diversity and resilence of the community. Dr. Raymond Douglas Chong will speak.
