David Dupont
David Dupont is a veteran local news reporter and arts writer with almost years of experience. A peripatetic journalist, he has worked full-time for local newspapers in Vermont, New Hampshire, Central New York State, and Northwest Ohio. In 2016, he and fellow journalist Jan McLaughlin launched the online news and arts website BG Independent News. Dupont also maintained a parallel career as a music writer with his work appearing in Cadence, One Final Note, and All Music Guide. He has a BDIC in Jazz Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MFA in Creative Writing in Fiction from the Vermont College of the Fine Arts.
