Color silent amateur footage (1940's-early 1950's) taken by Terminal Island resident Ben Fukuzaki, primarily of the fishing industry in and around Fish Harbor, Terminal Island, and San Pedro, California.
This segment shows a fishing boat at sea; two fishermen in a dinghy, afloat offshore, row toward a boat and climb aboard (fish are visible in the dinghy); the fishermen climb back down to their dinghy and row away; seiners watch as the dinghy pulls away (01:15).
