Discover Nikkei presents "PechaKucha Nite: Innovative Nikkei Projects" on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Tateuchi Democracy Forum of the Japanese American National Museum. The program featured six presentations by individuals who are working on projects that engage younger people in their community through culture and activism. In this clip, Darryl Mori, Vice President of the Museum, welcomes the audience and special guests. * The event was co-sponsored by the Museum and the newly formed Nikkei Youth Network based in Tokyo, Japan. Part of a series presented by Discover Nikkei, a project of the Japanese American National Museum, made possible through the generous support of The Nippon Foundation.
