Henry Sugimoto, "Family in Camp Room"
Here, Sugimoto tries his best to show us how the living conditions were in the concentration camp barracks. The barracks were often very small, and sometimes occupied by more than one family. There was no privacy, as is evident by the painting. The mother sews and the father reads the newspaper and the children do their homework, all crowded together in their one room home.
