Midori Suzuki


Born in Miyagi Prefecture. After graduating from the Oil Painting Department of Musashino Art University in 1971, he studied art in Granada, Spain in 1975. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and shows. He has lived in Mexico for 24 years. While working as a painter, he also serves as vice president of the Miyagi Aoba Association of Mexico and is a member of the Japan-Mexico Association.

At 2:46 p.m. on March 11, 2011 (Japan time), a massive earthquake with a magnitude of 9.0, the largest ever recorded in Japan, occurred off the coast of Sanriku, and a huge tsunami took away towns, lifestyles, and lives along the Pacific coast of Tohoku, leaving indelible scars on people's hearts. I am a painter from Miyagi Prefecture living in Mexico, and I also serve as vice president of the Miyagi Prefectural Association and the Miyagi Aoba Association of Mexico. …
