Mission Statement
The National Japanese American Historical Society, located in San Francisco, is dedicated to the collection, preservation, authentic interpretation, and sharing of historical information of the Japanese American experience for the diverse broader national community. NJAHS sponsors and produces travelling exhibitions, publications, videos, interactive multimedia, and educational programs and houses military and camp collections. About
Through our affiliation with Discover Nikkei, we will publish "Nikkei Heritage" (http://www.njahs.org/nh/index.htm) on-line, and make accessible on the Discover Nikkei Web site featured analysis, writings and interviews on three future issues: "Diaspora", "War", and "Peace". We will contribute to the Community Forum updates on NJAHS collaborations on exhibitions, film projects, and educational programs.
